Hojicha Hanamitsu
Hojicha Hanamitsu
Hojicha Hanamitsu has a reddish nectar liquor and a smoky aroma reminiscent of a summer bonfire. The warm sunset color of the roasted green tea is perfectly complemented by its rich savory taste.
The single-origin roasted green tea is made from tea leaves grown in Kyoto, Japan. After being picked during the June harvest, the tea leaves are lightly steamed to prevent oxidation, and then each leaf is rolled and dried. Finally, the signature firewood flavor of Hojicha Hanamitsu is created by roasting the tea leaves at a high heat.
Hojicha Hanamitsu is best enjoyed hot and is the perfect meal accompaniment. Since this tea is a naturally low in caffeine, it can also be consumed in the evening after dinner.
Prepare Hojicha Hanamitsu by steeping 8 grams in 240 ml of 80°C water for 30-60 seconds.
